  1. My worst Halloween memory was definitely last year. I remember it was pouring rain and me and my best friend we’re on the other side of the city and we had no money and my phone was about to die and I couldn’t take it out because I didn’t want it to get wet. We hid under a building for like three hours until this guy asked us if we were okay and we explained to him that we were lost and had no money or food. So he let us use his fun and we called her mom to come pick us up. Apparently we were trespassing so the security guard that was watching the building told us to leave even though we were just kids and it was pouring rain. So we waited for her mom under a tree for 30 minutes during a storm.

  2. My best halloween was probably last year. I had a great costume, I was with all my friends and we got loads of candy! Last year, I was an inflatable bathtub that made it look like I was taking a bath. I went with my friends Maddie, Ben, Mattea, Aidan and every once and a while Ben and Gavins younger siblings decided to join us (which was kind of annoying for all of us). Although they were in our way, we were in a really fun town named Ilderton and we met up with a bunch of people and also met new ones. It was pouring rain but we didn’t care because we were having too much fun! It’s a tradition for us to exchange candy at the end at someone's house, I got all the candy I wanted so I was super happy.

  3. I think that my favorite Halloween was when i was just a baby and i dressed up as a pig. It was one of those baby costumes which are just one piece and it kinda looks like a onesie for babies. It was really cold and I was a baby so I had to wear a baby jacket under it and I was super cosy. The whole time I got to ride in this basket thing that was strapped to my dad. My parents say that was one of my best Halloweens because it was my first Halloween and I just had to chill the whole time.

  4. I have to admit (probably like a few people here) I didn't enjoy Halloween too much last year because it was cancelled only for there not to bee too much rain and it rained on the day after! My cousin from France did come and since in Normandie they don't really celebrate Halloween it was her first. Another great part of Halloween which I always enjoy is the satisfaction of opening my bag on the table with my friends/brother/cousin and just seeing this huge pile on the table. I can really say that last year was the worst/best for those reasons. The real question is will it change to this year....

  5. My best halloween was definatly a few years ago when I went with my bestfriends to this street of houses we all know take scary to the next level, had all the best decorations and they were all apart of a donation comunity so we donated to a few houses and we started trick or treating .We kept going down that street over and over again they gave out the best candy but it was so packed because everyone was so entertained by one house on this street who looked like they spent thousands of dollards on their decorations made it on the news. We eventually left that street to go home and count up all our candy. Counting candy was one of my favorite parts because we would make traids to get our favorite candies and it would be so much fun.

  6. My worst Halloween was definitely last year. It was raining the whole time really hard and I just wanted to go home the entire time. I was with my friends which nice, but since it was raining so much we rushed and barely got any candy which was the part I was really looking forward to. Things got better when we went back to my friend's house. We watched a movie and had pretty good time. It was a good night with friends, but not a good night for what was supposed to be Halloween fun.

  7. My best Halloween was probably when I was in grade 5, ( 2-3 years ago ). That was the year I got the most candy I've ever gotten and I was so proud of myself for achieving that award! That year with my friends, we went to SO many houses together, almost too many. That year, I dressed as a koala ( it was basically just a onesie/my pjs lol ) and it wasn't that cold that year surprisingly. The fun part was also counting ALL of my candies and seeing how much I had! I would always split the different candies into separate sections and eat a lot of them too, it was a great Halloween!

  8. My best halloween memory was when me and my family went on vacation to Niagara Falls during halloween with my friends family. This was such a fun trip because we were there during my birthday week so we celebrated that as well .It was so fun being with my friend and since it was halloween we got to go to haunted houses and do other fun halloween festivities. We also did all of the activities with the falls and got to eat at so many delicious restaurants. My worst halloween was probably last year because it was cold and very wet and i didn't have everything planned out because we didn't know if it was going to be cancelled or not.

  9. My worst halloween was definitely last year. It was raining like crazy and it was also freezing cold. I ended up not going trick or treating because I didn’t want to get sick and it wasn’t worth freezing my butt off. I was disappointed I didn’t get to hang out with my friends but because we had bought so much candy to hand out but got less kids because of the weather conditions I just ended up eating all the extra candy. I was quite happy because it was all the kinds I loved. Other then that I just ended up watching movies and eating candy in my room dressed in my cow onesie. It was honestly not that bad and I had a lot of fun

  11. My best and worst halloween was definitely last year. I decided it was a gOoD iDeA to go trick or treating with my best friend. October 31st, with my friend, it was super rainy and there was a big storm in the area. I went as piglet and my friend went as pooh. We had umbrellas and candy bag. We went in her neighbourhood and most of her street had KING SIZE candy bars and since there wasn't a lot of people trick or treating so they gave us a lot of candy. My friend's umbrella flew off when we were about to return to her house. She was soaking wet and so was I. We made some really good memories. The next day I was pretty sick from the rain and the candy but honestly WoRtH iT :D

    1. I really liked your blog, I found it relatable.I went trick or treating last year too with a group of friends and we were soaking wet. Since it was so windy the umbrellas didn't even help.

  12. I don't really have a worst Halloween moment but a thought that came to mind was one year while I was trick or treating I passed by this house that had a sign on the door saying that they were not giving out any candy that year. Although the light were on there were a whole bunch of kids hitting on their door and shouting. One of my best Halloween moments was when my friends and I went trick or treating I remember it was really cold but it was still so much fun. One part that I really always enjoyed about Halloween was coming back home and my sister and I would count all of our candy and pick out our favourite and our lest favourites. Then we would separate the chocolates form the candy and put them in separate bowls

    1. I can relate to this, because I remember every year, me and my friends would always get home, sit in a circle and sort out all of our treats. We would usually trade candies we liked and didn't like and it just brings back memories.

  13. The worst Halloween I ever had was in grade 5. It was a special Halloween because the next day was a Ped Day. So my parents and my friends decided to have a party after trick or treating. So, everything went as planned. We got together and gained plenty of candy. We got home and played video games. Then we had some dessert. We ate some candies, cookies and other goodies. Some of my friends asked for milk (which I'm allergic to). So you can kind of guess where this is going. I had a drink too in a cup that was the same as the one with milk. So without thinking, I grabbed the milk cup, thinking it was mine and took a huge sip. It didn’t taste right and suddenly my throat started acting up. It’s the worst feeling ever. It feels like needles jabbing you in the throat. My parents gave me some medication and I lied on the couch for a few hours. It was quite unpleasant. My friends played without me while my body was processing what happened. I eventually got better so I joined in at the last hour. Even if I got better, that was the worst Halloween ever.

  14. A funny Halloween memory of mine is one time is while trick or treating I went up to one house and the guy gave candy to my friend in front of me. When it was my turn he gave me a potato and said "Voit ci une patate" and then I left. My friend and laughed about it after. My worst Halloween experience was when when I was 5 or 6 years. My mom thought it was good to take me to haunted house. It was a haunted house definitely geared for older people than me. It was in a big building and took about 10 minutes to go through it all. I was scared the whole time.

  15. My best halloween had to be... well never! Truth be told I never really did halloween, I never knew why. I'm pretty sure my parents used to think that it was tied within the roots of another religion, but as far as I know it isn't a religious holiday, and after 10 years of my life spent debating, my brother and sister will experience trick or treating next year! (Or, whenever covid ends)

  16. I don’t really have a best or worst Halloween memory, there were some years that Halloween was better than others, but I never really cared about it. I would go with my sister a lot of the year with her friends, but that got kind of boring, and she would get annoyed with me a lot. Last year, I decided not to do anything because I was kind of getting bored of Halloween so I watched a movie with my family so that was okay. Overall, I just don’t think that I’ve had a best or worst Halloween memory.

  17. I don't usually trick or treat much anymore, but a few years ago when I was like 10/11 I was addicted to minecraft so I wanted to be an enderman. Me and my mom made a cardboard box and coloured it to look like the endermen from minecraft... It rained that year and I couldn't go trick or treating and I got really sad and remember using it the next year

  18. Last year was probably my worst Halloween. As everyone knows it was really rainy and cold. It wasn’t even that fun. My friends and I just ran around our street and went to the neighbours houses we know best, then we all went home and watched a movie and gave out candy. It was fun in the end but definitely not as good as the other years.

  19. My best Halloween memory was going trick or treating with my friends in grade 6. We got a ton of candy, including the huge king-sized chocolate bars. A highlight of it was going back to my friends house to trade candy and sort it. My sister was being super annoying though, so that was the only downside. That year I was dressed as a strip of bacon. The best costume I've had (so far). I usually go all out

  20. On Halloween One of my best memories was when me and my friends went tricker "n" treating every year the host would change to a different person. One year I was the host and I wearied a costume that could not endure any water, of course that year rained like crazy near the end of the night so instead of staying in that costume drenched in water I decided to do what my friend did and just grab a garbage bag and stick three holes in it and that would be my costume. Every single house that I went to the person who gave candy always looked at me and my friend funny. Honestly for me Halloween is only bad when it rains which surprisingly happens a lot.

  21. My best Halloween was when I went trick or treating with my group of friends in 5th grade. It was fun because it was our biggest group we ever had and we stayed up latte eating a bunch of candy in our costumes. We even went into a haunted house that gave out full size chocolate bars at the end. It's upsetting to me how a lot of times, something happens on Halloween like it rains, it's really cold and now this year we have the pandemic. I just hope that next year we can have another normal Halloween once again.

  23. My best Halloween memory was probably when I went to my second school Halloween dance. It was in grade 6 and I was dressed up as the mad hatter. That night my mom was there as a volunteer giving out treats. My mom had made cotton candy and put it in bags so that they were in individual packages. I got to hang with my friends and at the same time see my mom. My worst Halloween memory was probably the year before because that year I was dressed up as a mad scientist. It wasn’t the costume that I didn’t like, it was the hair. I liked that it looked crazy and that my mom had teased it to make it stand up for effect. It was that to take it out was a major pain even in the shower with water and soap. Those two years were both very fun and crazy just like a mad scientist and a mad hatter.

  24. I honestly cannot remember anything from past halloween’s because it’s just not my favorite holiday. Although I do remember one halloween I was with my cousins and we all dressed up as minions from Despicable me. We went trick or treating together and I remember us coming home and dumping all of our candy onto the floor in the living room and just going crazy.

  25. My best worst halloween was last year. The first night I was so excited but it started pouring. I still went but came back soking wet but I had a great time. I was stood up by a friend which I'm no longer friends with (not for that reason) but it was still a pretty fun night. The news said that they would have a second night so I was like DOUBLE THE CANDY. So I was planning on going. I invited my friend over to come with me but then there was a black out in my neighbor hood so we just chilled and ate popcorn and called our friends. Then her dad came to pick her up at around 10PM.
