When the lovers in the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" wake-up they are CONFUSED!
They wonder if they were (hint, hint) dreaming and if what happened is actually real.
Does it take much to confuse you?
Does it take much to confuse you?
Tell me about a time you were confused.
How do you overcome the confusion?
Explain.
It doesn't take that much to confuse me. I remember one time it was really early in the morning and the night before I was out until like 3 in the morning with my friends. I thought it was saturday when I woke up, but it was actually Sunday. My mom was waking me up and rushing me out of bed and telling me I had soccer. I thought It was saturday so I was really confused and lost. I kept telling her to go away and that I didn’t have soccer and she said “Get your a** up right now and get ready”. Scared I was going to get in trouble I grabbed my phone and rushed to the bathroom to get ready. I checked my phone and saw the date and that’s how I overcame my confusion.
ReplyDeleteI like the part where you needed to get your a** up
DeleteIt all really depends, I can get very confused when I’m tired and or when I’m just having a crackhead moment. A time when I was very confused was last year when we had just started online school. I had one teacher that didn’t know how everything worked (zoom, quizzes, etc.),so all the students were also very confused (including me). Eventually, he was taught how to use zoom and everything else, so we continued to learn.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog really funny!
DeleteI can get very confused when I'm tired too. It also took some of my teachers awhile to get used of zoom.
DeleteZoom was extremely confusing and disorganized, it was nothing like normal school, and not in the good way!
DeleteI agree I also get really confused when I'm tired. Zoom was really confusing last year.
DeleteYour blog was very entertaining to read, I liked it.
DeleteI usually get confused when I'm not paying attention and have absolutely no clue what's going on or I really just can't understand something. One time I got confused was when I was doing some math homework and this question really stumped me. I thought I was doing it right but then my dad told me it was wrong and I got really confused. I usually overcome my confusion by understanding what I was confused with. Like them math question I was just talking about. Eventually I understood it and overcame the confusion.
ReplyDeleteI can relate while doing my marth homework today I needed my brother to help me because of how confused I was, it took a few tries but eventually I understood. Great blog completly relatable!
DeleteIts the same with me with math at the start of the year I barely was listening to the class and it took me at least 30 minutes to finish the homework.
DeleteI get confused very easily and sometimes it can take me a while to understand. Someday last week I fell asleep a lot earlier than usual. So I woke up at 12:30 am thinking that it was 7:30 in the morning and I thought I was going to be late for school. I started getting ready but I was confused because none of my friends had texted me yet and no one in the house was awake. I stared at my clock for a good 5 minutes but I didn't see anything wrong with it. Eventually I realised that it was the middle of the night and still had 5 hours to sleep.
ReplyDeleteThis has happened to me so many times. I misread the time on my clock and got up way earlier then I needed too.
Deletei love this! this has DEFINITELY happened to me so many times, and another time, it was on the weekend when it happened and it took me a while to fall asleep!
DeleteIt depends on the subject that’s being talked about. If it’s something I’ve never heard of then I may get a little confused at first. The way people phrase things sometimes can be a little confusing as well. Also if I’m super tired, I tend to understand less when someone’s talking. There have been many times where I was confused. Exemple, sometimes in math class I’ll be confused on how we got a certain number or equation, etc. The best way to I overcome confusion is by asking questions or most of the time I use the internet to help me. Sometimes I just have to re-read a certain question or review my answer and correct my mistake.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it really does depend on the subject. For example, usually when I'm in history or math class I'm confused.
DeleteI get confused many times, one example of this would have to be when I'm not paying attention in class and the teacher asks, "hey ateeb what's the answer to blah" and I'm like, "but we were answering bleh" and then I just get extremely confused. The only real way I overcome the situation is by paying attention, which in some subjects is harder than it sounds.
ReplyDeleteThis totally sound just like me. I never really pay attention in class, so I'm usually just confused most of the time!
DeleteMakes sense. Paying attention is very important

ReplyDeleteSame like when I get confused, it's usually when i'm super tired or when i'm at school. You had a really good example about the different days of the week and the test part was really funny. Great job :D
DeleteConfusion is just something that's part of my personality. I get confused really easily and i have things difficult. I get confused when I start day dreaming in french class and i get confused 10 minutes about what the french teacher is talking about, or in English class, when we're reading Shakespeare, and the dialogue is confusing. Another good example is that when we read a scene in MSND and we see a word that we've never seen ever, we get confused and try our best to read the dialogue.

DeleteYour first line made me laugh! I sometimes got confused when we were reading Shakespeare. Great blog!
DeleteIt honestly depends on when I get confused, but usually it’s when I’m tired or when I’m at school, to be honest! Whenever we go to school, I usually don’t have my brain with me, so if someone usually asks me questions, I get pretty confused. So many times, I thought that it was a different day ( ex. Day 1, 2,3, etc ) and I was so happy because we didn’t have any tests that day ( also because I didn’t study one bit for those tests ) and when it came to those classes, the teachers said, there was a test. And then I got extremely confused with everything that was happening, but I continued to do so.
ReplyDeleteI usually get confused when I'm not paying attention to something. I also get confused sometimes when I actually understand what is going on but then someone says something that I don't get. Then I ask a question about it and I realise I misted a part of the conversation. That usually happens in math class. The way I deal with confusion is that I ask questions and try to figure out what I'm doing by looking at it. I try my best to figure it out and if I still don't understand I will ask for help.
ReplyDeleteI really related to the conversation part, sadly it happens often. Nice blog!
DeleteI get confused a lot, usually when people aren't clear on what they are saying or when they talk to quick. I would definitely say I'm mostly confused when I come back from summer vacation and I'm in math class my brain hasn't done the stuff in a while so I am really confused. I am ALWAYS confused on what day it is in the school calendar even worse with the day 1a, days 1b. I usually overcome these types of confusion by using my agenda and noting down all the dates but sometimes I am just too lazy to do it.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I think I get confused a lot but most of the time I feel like if someones explaining me a story I know some of my friends will accidently forget an important part and then say it after the story is done but also a lot of the time its my fault. Coming back to school after so long kinda just hit me hard and its taking me longer to re-adjust to my school life. I usually find my self thinking of other things then when its ready to get tested I get confused, which is a bad method. Im hoping I eventually learn to go back to my old school habits. Also I get confused when someome is telling me something and they're always repeating same facts it causes me to wonder off in other thoughts and loose focus. Basically I think I get confused a lot because its hard for me to stay focused.
ReplyDeleteI hate when my friends are telling me something and they miss something important. Great blog :)
DeleteFor me I find that I can get confused but not a high amount. Mostly when I get confused is when I'm either don't understand something or I just get waked up and my brain is trying to comprehend whatever someone is saying. An example of this is when I got waked up in at 2:00 to go drive to Montreal (this was when I lived in Ontario) and I couldn't even follow a simple instruction and it was to go downstairs and grab you bags.
ReplyDeleteYeah when I wake up early I can bearly walk, talk or see straight. It's also pretty confusing when you wake up and can't tell if you're still dreaming
DeleteWhen i wake up early i'm really slow and kinda look like a sloth
DeleteI can get confused a little bit, but most of the time, I can usually keep my mind together enough to be sane. The only thing that really confuses me is french because I'm bad at it and french verbs make me confused. If I do get confused I kind of just deal with it until I understand because I find asking people for help is going to annoy them and I don't feel like doing that to people.
ReplyDeleteI get confused a bit but not that often. When I get confused, sometimes it takes me a little while to realize. A memorable time a got confused was on a school day, woke up a 2 AM but I didn't check the time and I started getting ready for school. I didn't understand why I felt so much more tired than most mornings. When I was pouring my cereal, my father heard me and came downstairs and told me the time and to go back to bed.
ReplyDeleteAfter I read your blog I burst out laughing, that is such a funny situation. Great blog!
DeleteIt does not take much to confuse me simply because I'm not the most intelligent person, especially when I just wake up or when I'm grumpy. I'm basically confused every math class, in fact I get so confused that I actually feel bad for Mrs.Broden because she always has to re-explain the material for me. There aren’t really any ways I cope with this confusion, I don’t really know why, I guess there just aren’t any ways that help me cope with it.
ReplyDeleteIve been having lots of trouble with math too.Sometimes its good to go over things a lot though.
DeleteI get confused a lot in life in many different situations but I particularly find myself confused in math class.Ive been having a lot of trouble with understanding math this year and new subjects I think this was caused because I'm still getting back in the habits of having to think hard after such a long break. To cope with this confusion I normally ask for a bit of help and try to organize myself and work things out step by step.

ReplyDeleteI feel that generally i don’t get confused often but it really depends on the situation. If it's during french class or science then I'll probably get confused but if it's math or English it will probably be easier for me to understand what’s happening. One time during history class in grade six we were talking about the Inuits and how they followed the Caribou over the barren straight from Russia to Canada and i was really confused on how they got past all that water. My teacher said that back then it was colder and that part of the Pacific was able to completely freeze over and be thick enough for them to cross safely. Usually when i’m confused i’ll read it over again or ask to hear it again and if i still don’t understand i'll ask someone who might know what is going on or what it means to help me understand.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on what the situation is for me to get confused. I don't get confused very easily, but if I do get confused, it means i'm very confused. Science confuses me a lot. There’s just too much going on and it happens too fast, so it’s just too much information for my brain to process and I get confused. I don’t really have a way of helping it. I kind of just re-read and hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteSame with me! Science is just way too much information at once and even when I study really hard I just don't understand it and still get confused. Great blog!!
DeleteIt depends on the situation. Math confuses me sometimes, and thats a pretty small thing. People who support Trump REALLY confuse me for obvious reasons. To overcome confusion, I just look at the situation again and again until I do. Not the best method for everyone, but it works for me. Sometimes it just takes me longer to process information, and I think thats pretty normal.
ReplyDeleteI have been confused far too many times from small things like when one of my friends tries to explain something that has happened. I can get very confused then there are also a lot of times at school. I get very confused when the teacher is teaching us something new. I overcome the confusion by going through again to make it clear and if it still not I get someone else to re-explain it in a different perspective.
ReplyDeleteI get confused very easily and it is usually the most simple things. I get confused around everyday and it usually has to do with a question someone asks me. Math confuses me the most. I get confused so easily in math especially when we just learn something. Science also confuses me a lot because there's just so many words for the same thing and it is just way too much to take in.
ReplyDeleteYes! same i definitely agree.
DeleteIt doesn’t take much to confuse me since I don’t like change and when something I will get very confused. For instance I feel like I’m always having “déjà vues”. Sometimes because I’m so used to doing things the same way I feel like I’m always in the same position many many times. When this happens the confusion does not last very long and it goes away on its own.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually get that confused very often, except if it's like a really hard math question. I remember one time where it was my first zoom dance class. Since we were all new to it being online it took a while to get started. The screen was freezing and unfreezing, some parts were speeding up and then were in slow motion. I was confused, but I figured out the dance. That was definitely not my favourite dance class ever.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take much to confuse me. I remember one time, I think a few weeks ago. I woke up in the middle of the night and it was pitch black outside, I had to go to the bathroom and I was really tired. I walked back in my room ready to get back in bed and I saw that It was 6:45 am and I thought that my clock was broken or something but when I checked my phone it was actually 6:45 in the morning and I was really confused because I still thought it was the middle of the night.
ReplyDeleteIt usually takes a lot to confuse me when I'm at home or doing something I want to be doing, but when I'm at school, it doesn't take much. Usually all it takes is me getting bored in the back of class and I when I snap out of it and get back to the real world that I'm super confused on what we are talking about. I usually don't zone out in English or Ethics class though, as I find that it is very hands on and not listening to a long lecture for 50 minutes about algebra.
ReplyDeleteIt really doesn't take much to confuse me. I remember one time a few years ago, I went to bed one night and then I woke up to go eat breakfast. My mom was awake downstairs and she asked me what I was still doing up. I was really confused so I went to go check the time and it was midnight. It felt to me like I had slept through the night, but it had only been a few hours. To get over my confusion, I usually go over things another time or I ask questions to help myself understand better.
