November 2020 at St. T is about taking care of yourself and of others. Self-care can help improve

your physical and emotional health as well as your overall well-being. It can also give you the

opportunity to slow down the pace of life and promote some positive energy.


The first goal is to SMILE more often.

I think it's sometimes important to "slow down the pace of life and promote some positive energy" especially if your stressed or panicking but if there something important going on in life you shouldn't, for example if your wedding is tomorrow occasionally you need to be not slowing down and get prepared what I'm trying to say is to take breaks in your life and don't be stressed but there's parts of you life that you need to be hectic or be fast. A way that smiles can help improve your health is because happiness is an expression of joy for humans and it shows other people that you are happy which I find when you're in that mood you're easy to talk to. People do need to take better care of their physical and emotional well-being especially during this pandemic we need to take care of ourselves and keep the same standards.

I think if you pack too much on you're plate it causes life to get very stressful which leads to anxiety and other mental illnesses that can be very harmful to you're health and overall happiness in life.At the same time you do need to sometimes be efficient and get things done.So I think its important to find a good balance in life and that can be slowing down on some things and taking a rest from time to time. I think smiling can help improve you're health because it creates a more positive energy in life and puts you in a better mood which is healthy to have in life. Having a positive approach for things also makes things easier to get done.

  3. I think that a lot of students need to take care of their welbings but its not their fault it comes with the stress of either school work or maybe even their situation at home. Its definatly not healthy always being stressed or feeling like your going to forget something every few minutes. But smiling can definatly improve that. If you smile you can trick your brain into thinking your happy and forgetting about what made you sad. Always staying upset and stressed will definatly do the oposite and maybe even make your stress worst. Having a clear mindset and calm mindset is always my goal when I smile.

  4. In my opinion I think that we should take some time to promote positive energy. Sometimes you need to take a break from whatever you are doing and just relax. I think that promoting positive energy is important because it can really brighten up someones day. I do think smiling can improve your health. When you smile it makes you feel good. Smiling can also make someone else smile which can promote some positive energy. I do think that it is important to take care of your emotional and physical well being. It is important to always have someone to go to whenever you are feeling down. It is unhealthy to have all your emotions bottled up. It is important to maintain a physical well being not only because it will keep you fit but also because when you exercise it makes you feel good.

  5. I think we should take our time and enjoy living. We as students need to take good care of ourselves and make sure others are doing fine as well. We could be having a stressful time, but we know that we can take care of ourselves by just taking a deep breath and not rushing anything. I think smiling can definitely improve the health of myself and others. Maybe just by smiling at someone can make them feel good inside, you never know when someone is having a bad day or needs to be cheered up. I think people do need to take care of their physical and mental health. I feel like I want to take care of others more than myself. That's something that I think I need to work on.

  6. I think that positivity is a good thing to be encouraged at our school because there a lot of negative energy out our school. But I beleive this is due to all the stress and homework that the teachers throw at us. I think that smiling can help because it makes you feel happy. I think that more people should focuse on there mental health because it's really important to put yourself first.

  7. I think that positivity is really important. I say this from personal experience but I can assume that most of you can relate that when you are in a positive mood you overall feel, work better than if you are in a bad one which you might not perform as well as usual. Smiling is an AMAZING way to pass on positivity. I feel a lot better when I'm in an environment of happy and people having fun compared to people complaining and feeling bad.

  8. Life moves at such a fast pace that it seems to pass us by before we can really enjoy it. I believe that it is important to slow down the pace of life and promote some positive energy because there is a lot of stress and anxiety that can be pushed away when really you should be facing it head on. Studies show that smiling not only can give you a mood boost but also helps our bodies release cortisol and endorphins that provide numerous health benefits, including; reduced blood pressure, Increased endurance, and reduced pain. I feel that people need to take better care of their physical and emotional well-being because emotional wellness inspires self-care, relaxation, stress reduction and the development of inner strength. It is important to understand how to handle these emotions. Emotional wellness also includes the ability to learn and grow from experiences. Overall, physical wellness encourages the balance of mental well-being to keep your body in top condition.

  9. I think that positivity in your life is important. The reason I say this is because life comes a lot easier to those who think positive rather that those who always think negatively about life. Also, positivity will generally make you feel happier about life and you will be able to enjoy life to it's fullest and you can live more happily. If you feel better all the time, people around you may be able to be happier as well, and it can all start with smiling more often. Smiling can pass on people's "good vibes" and make others around them feel better. Being more positive can help you in life because it will help reduce the amount of stress and anxiety that you have in your life. Especially in school, reducing that can help with your mental health which is really important to keep yourself healthy. I always tend to feel better when I'm around happy and positive people.

Promoting positive energy is something we should all do, because many people have mental illnesses they struggle with, so if we promote positive energy, it can always brighten up someone’s mood. Smiling can improve your health because it gives a way of expressing how you feel, it shows a lot about your mood, and it’s something healthy to have in your life. Your physical and mental health is really important too, that's why it’s really good to take care of yourself too. It’s good to focus on being positive because you can always make someone smile too.

I think that it's important to slow down the pace of life and promote positive energy however, with school, it's a little bit hard to slow down the pace because school puts a lot of pressure on you to get good marks, and do all of your homework. I don't really know how much smiling can improve your mental health mainly because sometimes when you smile, it can just be a fake one, but smiling can improve mental health for some people. I definetly think that it's very important to take care of your mental health because if you don't, it can cause anxiety, depression, etc. Also, if you don't take care of your mental health, chances are you may just get more stressed or you may just not be as happy.

  13. Sometimes, it's always nice to relax and slow down, to take a breather, and reflect on yourself and relax, I think that's it's important to slow down the pace, get a lazy day and promote positive energy.
    You can channel your positivity in different ways. A good example is smiling :) Smiling can sometimes help by making you feel better about yourself. Smiling can improve your mood, makes you feel happier and positive! :D People should take better care of their physical and emotional well-being. Taking care of yourself physical by walking for 30 minutes, go for a run, or have some fun outside. l personally take care of my emotional well-being by watching something that makes me laugh or smile, a show that's wholesome or funny. As long as you're trying to take care of yourself, that's a thumbs up for me!! :D

  14. I think slowing down and just being positive can be very good for your health since it can get your mind off of negative, mean or rude thoughts. I think smiling is also important since by smiling people see you're happy and might smile back or be happy too, because sometimes, happiness is contagious. I think that people should take a moment to just keep their mental health good sometimes because people with mental health issues have problems in the long term

  15. Slowing down the pace and promoting positive energy is very important. It helps you get your mind off all the negativity and stress and just helps you relax. It is important to give you time for yourself and for your body to take time to relax. I think that smiling more will make you healthier because when you’re happy you release endorphins that are very good for you.

  16. Being happy in general is good for you. Positive energy is needed to live a healthy life and slowing down when youre upset is something you should try if you haven't already. I tend to listen to slower music when I'm sad just to feel better. You have the right to feel good about yourself, even if you're sad for a minor thing.

  17. Yes I do think it’s important because otherwise moving too fast will lead to possible stress and anxiety. This can be more harmful to you then you think, it can affect your body especially your brain. It’s possible you’ll develop a mental illness that could possibly affect you for the rest of your life. The act of smiling actually helps the human immune system to function more effectively. It is thought that when you smile, immune function improves because you are more relaxed. Yes I do feel that it’s important to take care of your physical and emotional well-being so you don’t develop any health problems or mental illness. Some say working out can even make you happy.

  18. yes, I do think that we need to be able to slow down and take a breather every now and then. I find that school has been stressing me out a lot this year and I often need to take breaks in order to stop myself from burning out. I've read that smiling can actually improve your happiness "level". A lot of people I know take good care of their physical well being, but less so on their emotional well being, focusing on more of the cosmetic stuff instead. I think that this is really sad, because, while there are both bad, emotional and mental health are more important because nobody can see that you aren't okay, where physical you can see, for example, that someone accidentally got a cut on their arm.

  19. I think it is really important to sometimes just sit on the couch and not worry about anything because now with covid and everything else going on our brains never get a break. I feel smiling makes people happier because when you smile you make other people smile and to see other people smiling makes you feel good inside and comforted. I feel that lots of people try to be happier and do things that make them feel good, but it's really hard to have the time to relax when you have everything going on. My mom always says that you have to treat that me-time like homework, you have to do it no matter what because you need to take breaks so that you come back with a fully charged brain.

Smiling is very important for your health since it can help you feel relaxed since you are happy and smiling is one of the ways to show you are happy.   22. I think you should definitely take your time in life. Your friends might be a step ahead of you in life but it doesn’t mean you should try to make it there too. You’re doing great wherever you are. You got this! I think smiling definitely does help your mental health, but only if it’s a real one. Sometimes you might not be genuinely happy, and that’s completely okay, but don’t put on a fake smile. Surround yourself with people who make you happy and bring you nothing but love and joy.

I think it is extremely important to take your time in life, otherwise you can suffer from a multitude of negative effects, although its also important to not take too much time in life, for fear of getting left behind. Smiling is a great thing because it is contagious, and unlike diseases, is a good thing! I find that people always care about others more than themselves, which can be a bad thing in alot of cases
