The Donald Trump era is officially OVER!
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will take over as President and Vice-President in January.
Why do you think Joe Biden and Kamala Harris WON?
Why do you feel they will SUCCEED as President and Vice-President of the USA?
How will this impact Canada?
Explain.
I think it will be tough for them because pretty much half of America still likes Trump. They will do whatever he says, even we he's not the president. Biden will have to try and unite the country and that will be pretty tough. He will be very different form Trump and people might not like that. But like he said, give him a chance. This will impact Canada because we are America's biggest neighbors. We make commerce with each other to help the economy. Trump did not really like us so yeah, screw him. He messed up economy and if Biden fixes this, it will make an impact.

DeleteI think that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won because after Donald Trump's particular ways of being president the people of America wanted to see some changes, although I do think that a lot of people still like Trump. I think Biden and Harris will listen to the public more and will go in the opposite direction of Trump. I think that there will be a stronger relationship between the U.S.A and Canada now that Biden is president.

DeleteI think that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won because , Trump had lots of bad things going against him covid, BLM and much more that made people dislike him. I feel that they will succeed to hopefully like what trump said "make America great again" by enforcing Covid more, trying to stop racism and more. There is the "other" side of America though which might start protesting and other things like that which might not help the economy since we are right beside them.

ReplyDeleteI think Biden and Harris will do better then Trump because there not crazy, their regular people who saw a flaw in American system and I can say that they more then fixed it because now America dosent have a racist president anymore. This will definatly impact Canada because America is our greatest trading parteners and we rely on them for certain materials, it depends on the president but hopefully everything is much more smooth sailing with Americas new President and Vice president Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

DeleteI think Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won because they are truly the best candidates for the position. Joe actually listens to opinions that America has instead of pushing them aside or calling them stupid like trump. He and Kamala also try to understand our generation (Kamala probably a bit more) by getting involved on social media such as Tik tok, instagram, etc. They also support groups that were discriminated against by trump. For instance, LGBTQA community that were not accepted because they weren’t “normal” in the words of trump. There will most likely be a stronger relation between America and Canada and there will probably be more commerce deals because America doesn’t have a two year old running as their president anymore.

ReplyDeleteI think that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the elections because people are fed up with Donald Trump's decisions, how he acts and how he made America worse. People believed that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would bring positives change in the country. I believe they will succeed because they are accepting of other people's cultures, race and beliefs. They will also listen to other people's point of view. I think that they will impact Canada because of our business. We will have better business relations because they are more open to creating partnerships.

I think that Joe Biden got elected instead of Trump because people finally started to realize that Trump is a terrible person. He's homophobic, racist, doesn't think climate change is real, has multiple r*pe allegations and was best friends with a sex offender. I don't support Biden either, but I feel he was definitally the better fit because he's a much better person and has better views. This will effect Canada because U.S.A trades with us a lot.

DeleteI think Biden won because he has a higher IQ than 30, and because hes a genuinely nice guy. He's experienced the loss of two of his children, his wife, and he still manages to help the people and not himself. He isnt the perfect candidate, but he sure is better than Cheeto Man. He believes in climate change which Trump does not, and hes a really smart guy. Kamala is a very powerful woman. She was the US senator for about 3 years, and now she'll be the first black person, first south Asian person and first woman to be VP. She has made history 3 times! She herself is also a very educated individual, so is Pence, but she is definitely a better choice, because Pence has the exact same beliefs as Trump. In all, Joe and Kamala will make great leaders, and will hopefully, actually make America great again.

ReplyDeleteI think that Joe Biden beat Donald Trump for many reasons. He has more political experience, he is more polite than trump, he understands how Covid 19 is a problem and needs to be handled and not avoided and he isn't a liar. Kamala Harris Is also very intelligent and educated. She is the first south Asian, first black person and first woman to become vice president of the United-States. I think they will work better than Trump because they will listen to people's opinions and improve from feedback. The situation in the United-States greatly impact Canada. First of all the

ReplyDeleteThe reason why I feel Joe Bidden and Kamala Harris won was because Donald Trump made his supporters look like fools for example there was a massive meeting/ party and almost none of them were wearing masks you may have heard this on the news but many thom got Covid-19 and there or even now are badly sick even though trump said it was nothing to worried about (which was why they weren't wearing masks). Now I'm not a full fan of Joe Bidden and in fact he has done many wrong things like copying someone's famous speech but I do think that his and hers mindsets are in the right place and from what I’m seeing are handling this pandemic way better than Trump was. The way that this impacts us is that there are neighbouring land and many people in Canada have business deals in America like my Dad and we buy products from places in America.

He really shocked me with how he messed up this country (not suprised trump ruined america) I feel like maybe Biden and Harris will be successful with not dropping America into crisis mode every 5 seconds because that's what Trump been doing all year :/ They would try to protect the economy and the citizens of America so they wouldn't move into our country :) Honestly I'm just here to celebrate Trump's lost, not Biden's win.

DeleteI think Biden won from how bad Trump was as president before, like giving most of the white house corona because he was stubborn and didn't want to wear a mask and how he was saying that America would stay open during the pandemic. I think they will succeed because since they had Trump as a president before, it will be very hard to be worse then him. I think that canada won't be affected much, but its a massive weight off our shoulders because Trump is no longer bordering us.
ReplyDeleteI think that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won fro a couple of reasons. First I think they won thanks to to Trump. Throughout Trump's presidency he said many many things that are hurtful, rude and very offensive towards people and the environment. He said very stupid and unreasonable things that made even some Trump supporters to vote change their mind and vote for Biden and it encouraged people who did not vote last election. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will succeed because I believe that they will do a great job working together and will actually "Make America Great Again" :))
ReplyDeleteI think they won because many people have a big dislike towards Trump, he’s racist, homophobic, doesn’t respect COVID-19, etc. Given that both candidates weren’t the best, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are going to bring more positive changes for America. Not to mention Kamala Harris will be the first female VP which shows change and this is something good for America. I think this will impact Canada in business deals and trades. It might be more peaceful along with many other positive outcomes.

DeleteHonestly, I think that Biden won because people were just getting tired of Trump and also Biden might’ve won because when you see the way that Trump has been handling covid, it shows you the type of president he was(a bad one). I think that Biden will succeed more as president for a few reasons. First, he seems like he would be better at handling situations, and second, Biden seems to care a lot more about citizens than Trump did. I think that this can impact Canada because let’s say that we needed to buy a part to make a car from the U.S and Biden made it illegal, it would make it a lot harder. Or, if he raised or lowered the tax, that would also affect Canada.
ReplyDeleteI think that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won because everyone in the United States isn’t very happy with all of the decisions Trump has been making, there are a lot of bad things Trump makes decisions for Covid-19, LGBTQA community, racism, etc. I feel like they’ll succeed as vice-president and president because first, Kamala Harris is a very powerful woman and now vice-president! And together Biden and Harris will listen to other people’s opinions and use their voices to make changes to all the things Trump has done to the United States. This will impact Canada because they are both right next to each other, and we do trading, so I’m sure they will make the right decisions instead of Trump ruining everything.

DeleteI think that Joe Bidden and Kamala Harris won because they have a lot of qualities that Trump didn't. Like, you know, caring about COVID and how it is affecting the general population. I think that it also helped that they they supported a lot of things that Trump didn't, like abortion, the LGBTQ+ community and Black Lives Matter. I think that it is amazing that they have won and that they are going to be in office in January. I think that they are going to succeed because you can only get so bad, and Trump is down there, so I think they are going to a much better job then Trump. I Think that it is going to affect Canada because of the fact that it is going to (hopefully) improve on an economic level. (Tarifs, etc)

They also supported mask wearing, so that already makes them leagues better than trump. I feel they will succeed because they seem to be willing to make alliances with the countries that they have been at conflict with. This will be great for Canada because it will help our economy

I think they are going to really make an impact on the environment because if they start reducing the use of fossil fuels the air will get way cleaner. Alberta has a lot of oil refineries and that could hurt the economy but it will be better for the world.

He made so many stupid desicions and took away so many people rights. It's awful and having a new president who hopefully knows what's right is going to help their country. I also think it’s super cool that there is a girl as the vice president. That’s honestly really amazing.

Hopefully Biden succeeds because if Trump comes back... Anyways, Canada might be better off my I heard that he will be adding 20% onto the taxes. I'm not sure if this is true but if it is, then it will affect Canada because lots of our resources and products come from the USA.

Trump was being very rude/disrespectful to others and many were getting insulted so they decided to vote him out. I think they will succeed and bring new life to the USA. I don’t really know how this will affect Canada because I don’t really follow politics so I don’t know what Joe Biden has planned to do.
