  1. I'm definitaly a fan of watching hockey, but not playing it. I love sports like soccer and basketball. During this crazy year, I've learnt how to skateboard and now that's how I get everywhere. Whenever I'm hungry, I skateboard down to the depaneur and buy food and drinks for myself. I also play football in the snow with my friends and frisbee.

  2. I would say that I’m a pretty big fan of watching and playing hockey and all the other sports. I have played many sports throughout my life and I enjoy how it makes me feel. I can get very competitive sometimes and sports just help me diffuse that energy. The activities that have helped keep me sane throughout this crazy year would probably be hanging out with friends, playing sports and exercising. Overall, I am just all around a big fan of sports and I am glad that the hockey season is back.

  3. My family are super fans of the canadiens so my brothers and my dad were going more insane more then usual but when the first game of the new season was played they were so happy and a little more normal. Also my oldest brother is one of the biggest fans so he listens to podcasts about sports players all the time and always keeping up in the news. Personally keeping me sane was hanging out with my best friend who lives on my street.

  4. I'm not really a hockey fan. The only sports that I watch the most consist of soccer and football. This year I have watched to much TV and Tik tok. Mostly Tik tok I spend a lot of time on that app not realising how long I'm scrolling. I have also spend a lot of time eating because its amazing in so many ways. This year I also face timed a lot of my closest friends, thus we couldn't see anyone.

    3. FaceTime was definitely a life-saver during these times. Great blog!

  5. I'm not really a fan of hockey but I have a few friends that are. In general, I'm not really a big fan of sports. The sport that I probably watch the most is basketball. Some things that kept me sane are video games, zoom and my sister. Video games are pretty fun and can burn through time super fast. Zoom helped because I was able to interact with friends and families. And lastly, my sister because she is someone I can talk too and I enjoy her company even when she is annoying sometimes.

    1. I'm not a huge fan of hockey too! And I do agree that video games are really amazing and are a great way to pass time. Amazing blog man!

  6. I'm not a big fan of hockey, but my brother and my dad sure are. They watched hockey way too much, sometimes I'd join in but i'd get bored until the violence comes on. I'm not a big sports fan in general, I like watching basketball and football with my brother. We would make bets and fight all the time, that's why my dad have to watch with us or else my brother and I would scream at each other. Throughout this crazy year, Netflix, Youtube, video games and music have helped stay sane, without driving myself crazy. if i don't have any of those things in my life, i could have been a different person. Oh well... new year, same old stuff :/

  7. I’m not the biggest fan of hockey, I’d rather watch it than play it. I do like to play sports once in a while bu there are other things I like to do more. Some of the things that have helped keep me sane are my phone, online shopping, late night drives, music, writing, and getting back into reading. These are most of the things I did during the quarantines once I grew bored of social medias. Also meeting up with friends last year during quarantine (social distancing of course). It was definitely a hard year because there was almost nothing you could do that I’d consider fun. I did try and make the best out of it and still am so hopefully things get better fast.

  8. I'm not really interested in hockey, but I honestly don’t really mind watching it though. It’s mostly my dad and my brother who really are interested in hockey and love it, they’ve already started watching it. In which they’re both super excited and psyched that hockey season is back on. I’m really not a sports fan, it doesn't really interest me. The only things that have been keeping me sane during this year was the game animal crossing, i guess also online shopping and definitely netflix too. Those were the only things that really kept me busy and entertained throughout the crazy year so far.

  9. I, personally, am not that interested in hockey, although it seems very interesting. There is nobody else in my family who watches hockey, most of my relatives just watch cricket. I'm a minor sports fan, but only when it comes to boxing. The only few things that kept me sane during all this time was coding, video games, and boxing. Those were the only things that kept me entertained during all this time.

  10. I am a fan of hockey, and i also love skating. My whole family loves watching the games on TV and before covid, in a real stadium. I am a sports fan, I like watching soccer but I find playing it is more exciting. I like watching all kinds of different sports but I mostly watch hockey and soccer. Since my soccer was canceled it was really hard for me because I love doing things and always moving around. My parents bought a trampoline for me to use during the summer since I do gymnastics. And in the winter we made our own stating rink in the backyard that we use to skate and play hockey which is pretty cool.

    1. that sounds like fun to have a little skating rink in your backyard! and same with me, most of my family really like watching hockey games on tv as well. good blog :)

    2. You're so lucky!! I wanted a rink in my backyard but my parents said no since it's too much work. Good Blog :))

  11. I am not a really big hockey fan or sports fan. This year the primary activity that really kept me sane was video games. They let me interact with my friends in virtual scenarios or just fool around with them. And video games for me really take me into another world where I don't need to think about Covid, I need to fight bad guys. That's why video games really helped me through Covid.

  12. I am not a hockey fan, I went to a game once with my dad but other than that, I don’t really ever watch hockey. I don’t really watch a lot of sports on TV because I find it boring however, there is one sport on TV that just has my heart and that sport is WWE. I watch it every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and sometimes Sunday if there are Paperviews, and I always watch it with my dad. I think that during these crazy times, hanging out with friends, watching WWE and now my dog have kept me sane during these times.

  13. I am a huge hockey fan! In fact, I play hockey myself. I am extremely happy and very excited that the hockey season is back, I love watching games they're so entertaining. I watch hockey with my dad who is also my coach, the only bad thing is that when we are watching the game he always coaches me and tells me what they're doing right and wrong. Sometimes it's annoying but at the same time pretty useful! Sadly, due to covid, I haven't gotten to play my favourite sport in months and that was my only way of escaping the reality. During these crazy times I have been skating a lot and practising on my outdoor rink in my backyard. It's fun but still not the same.

  14. I occasionally like to watch a Hockey game, whatever team it is. So I'm not a mega fan but I'm a fan of the sport. When I was younger, in Ontario I was a fan of the London Night's team whose division is the CHL not the NHL. Activities that have helped keep me sane this year would have to be snowboarding, my bird and indoor golf.

  15. My family has always been crazy sports fans. The upstairs TV is basically only for sports. We watch everything from hockey, football, soccer, tennis, etc. We are huge hockey fans. We always have a hockey game on even if it isn't the Canadians. Personally my favourite is the world juniors. Its the best sports event. Its all the top under 20 players from all around the world playing for their country to win gold. Canada is basically always the favourite to win but this year that didn't happen, im still not over it, it makes me so sad even thinking of it. Anyways we are extremely passionate about sports and any sport on the TV gives me a sense of comfort and keeps me sane.

  16. Personally I really like hockey, I used to play it but I didn't like having to wake up early to go to practice. Something that helped me through this pandemic is videogames and Netflix. A lot of my social life last year was obviously online, and being able play games with my friends, chat and hangout is something that I really cherished last year because I could still have a social life without having to see people. Netflix helped me out by giving me movies and tv shows to be able to watch and entertain myself when I was really bored.

  17. I used to be a hockey fan, but not really anymore. I've been to a few games and it was a lot of fun. I mostly went with my uncle who is one of the biggest hockey fans in my family. So, I'm not really a sports fan, but I don't mind watching it. Like, would I have any idea what they are saying or what any of the plays are...no, no I probably wouldn't. Except for baseball, I play softball, so I know of the game. An activity that has kept me sane during the pandemic is dancing. Right now I'm dancing 6 and a half hours a week. I love to dance because I can let go and escape the real, crazy world we live in.

  18. I’m not really a fan of sports and doing extremely athletic activities are not really my thing. I prefer to read books, watch television and do artsy stuff. I guess hockey is okay but my dad likes to watch football and baseball so I normally keep up with those sports rather than hockey. During this year playing with my sister, doing puzzles with my dad and reading books has really kept me in a relaxed/sane state. This year has been really chaotic and to be able to do the things I love in my spare time has been really enjoyable even in these hard times.

  19. I’m not a fan of hockey, I’m not really a fan of any sports. Sometimes I watch the Fifa world cup with my mum or the Olympics but on the whole I don’t really find sports interesting. I think the activity that kept me sane this year was playing video games with my brother and dad. We played a game called Borderlands and there is more than one so we were busy for a while.

  20. I am personally not a fan of hockey and I don't really watch sports. I prefer playing some sports, but watching them just doesn't interest me. Some activities that kept me sane were playing video games, watching shows and movies, drawing and painting. These are just things that I enjoy doing and when I have a chance to do things I like, it can help me take my mind off of all the crazy things that are going on in the world.

  21. Im not a huge hockey fan but I've been to a few games because my dad and brother are huge hockey fans.In general I do enjoy sports I think they can be fun to watch and play and they're something to look forward to and have passion for.I know man y sports teams but I don't actually keep up with all the latests news and events.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I really dont care about sports on TV. I like watching the Olympics when they come around but that's about it. I myself am a swimmer but I dont want to watch other people swim. That's boring. Maybe if it's my teammate but random people I couldnt care less. Drawing has kept me sane during these times. I made my own story and my own characters. Video games too. Cant forget those.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I really don't watch sports at all, they are kind of boring to me. It's just running around doing stuff with a ball or a puck or some other object and I don't find that interesting. I do enjoy video games though because I feel like they can be more customizable and easier to use and understand, because there are tutorials and stuff that you can watch when you are lost.
