I always love march break because its my birthday week. My favourite march break was last year right before Covid. I got to spend time with my friends and we even did a few night long sleepovers at each other's houses it was really fun. My worst march break had to be a few years ago when my mom and I got a terrible cold and we had to miss out on going tubing with some family friends. But afterwards we just ate popcorn and binged watched a bunch of movies and shows, it was still fun. March break is always so fun every year, hopefully it doesn't change and we can still have fun just with less people.
I’m kind of disappointed about the march break coming up because I was supposed to go to Barbados but that was cancelled due to Covid. My best march break was probably when I went on a trip with my whole entire family (my grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts,etc.). We rented a huge house that was on the lake, so we basically skated every single day. There was a ski hill nearby so we had a few skiing days which ended up being really fun. We had a bunch of fun nights together and by the time march break was over we all wanted to stay but at the same time we were all refreshed and ready to go back to school.
I'm really upset about how this march break is going to end up because I was supposed to go on vacation with my entire family to Cuba. But my favorite march break memory is definietly a few years ago when I had hockey playoffs. I remember it so clearly, we won in overtime and had a huge celebration. We also would go to the water slides and indoor pools throughout the tournament. Because of Covid, I don't get to do all this now and it makes me really sad to think that I could be doing all this fun stuff and making amazing memories... But I'm not.
I've never really have a best and worse march break. I don't really go on vacation on March break. If I were going on vacation it would be during the summer. I don't have a worst march break because all the March breaks I've had were good. If I were to pick the best march break it would probably be march break in 5th grade. I saw my family a lot and didn't get much work. It was overall just a fun and relaxing march break.
I think that my best March break memory was when my parents took me and my sister to Disney World for the first time. It was so much fun and the rides just make you happy, so does the overall vibe at disney. My worst march break experience was this year because we really can't do anything.
My favorite march break was when I stayed the whole week at my grandma's and she taught my brother and I to ice skate, while after going in to have hot chocolate with marshmallows. My worst march break was last year though because both of my parents were working and my grandma was sick so we had to stay home and just sit around I guess. This year though I got plans with a bunch of my friends to play a lot during the week of march break so hopefully that is going to be fun.
I think my best march break was when my dad took me and my little sister up to niagra falls. We stayed in a hotel maybe 10-15 minutes away and it was really fun to be able to see such giant waterfalls. In the hotel, they had this really big indoor waterpark that we spent basically when it opened to just before it closed in. I'm not really disappointed that we can't go anywhere for march break, because honestly I wasn't really planing on going anywhere, but it would have been nice to be able to have seen my friends if this covid stuff wasn't here.
Last year for march break, I went on a cruise all around Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. I did this before the first 10 cases were reported around those places so it was still safe at the time. The cruise was great and I was excited to see new places. I also made a lot of new friends and hung out with them everyday until the break of dawn. We’d usually hang out in the teen room until that closed at midnight and then moved to hang out in the club not far from it. We danced, laughed and sang our hearts out. It was super fun and I had a great time.
My March breaks have never been interesting. I’ve never gone on any type of vacation before on a March break and normally it’s still way too cold to go swimming. I am though looking forward to this upcoming March break since my parents have booked a two day stay at Mount Orford. I hope it will be as exciting as I hope it will be.
I have never really had a good or bad March break because most of them are pretty much the same. I usually stay at home and relax because me and my family don't usually go on vacations. If there wasn't Covid, we might've gone on a trip this year because it's been a long time since our last trip, but we can't go anywhere because of the virus. Instead, this year while I have nothing else to do, I'm taking lifeguarding courses every day during the week. Obviously, this year isn't going to be as much fun as it could've been, but at least I'm going to do something.
my best march break was a few years ago when we went tubing went up to saint sauveur to go tubing at mont avila. we all went as a family and we had hot cocoa when we got back home and even s'mores. we also went shopping and things like that. it was a really fun and then relaxing kind of March break. but now we can't do as MANY cool and big activities like we normally did. it really sucks, since Covid-19 is here and we can't do anything anymore.
I can really remember a march break that was bad they were all pretty decent but the most memorable and just over all the best was last year's march break i was like the last time stuff was “normal” i hung with my friend for the first few days and then when to my grandparents and skied near them then the best part was that i went to my hockey playoffs with my team in quebec city we stayed there for like 4 days it was so fun and definitely one i will remember.
I honestly can not remember my previous march breaks but I do know I have spent them with friends and family. I was doing activities almost everyday and then I had like a one of relaxation. Since we have the whole summer off to do things and we don't have many holidays to have a nice winter break, other than christmas, I think that march break is the perfect week. During the week, while doing my outdoor activities, I would make taffy on snow and lots of hot chocolate and basically play with my dogs.
So, I don't really have a favourite March Break. I usually stay home with my family or go on a mini vacation or go over to my uncle's house to help baby sit my little cousins, which is always fun! My cousins and I are super close. But because of Covid, I won't be able to see them this March break. I think this March break will be the worst since we won't be able to go see anyone this year.
March breaks are always the same for me. My mom has my brother and I make a bucket list of things we want to do and she gives us what we need/brings us to where we need to go to do it. My worst March break was last year. My mom was out taking care of a bunch of our family members because they were sick so I was stuck with my brother all week and every child that lives in my neighborhood plus my cousin. I was a babysitter for about 6 children and got no pay. It would be 10 o’clock in the morning and they would just walk in and I would be in my pyjamas watching some sad movie and they would ask me for a juice box!! Thank god we can’t have anyone in our house this year.
My worst march break was when I was younger my parents made me go to a camp during the break. I didn't like this because it was boring when I finally had time off school they would make me go do something else. My best march break was last year, I went to California for my bar mitzvah with my dad. I really enjoyed it. I went surfing in San Diego and then we went to my cousins house in San Francisco and we drove to the north of California to go snowboarding. We also visited a bunch of cool places in both cities.
I don't usually remember march breaks as much as summer vacations because all around, they just are less memorable. Last year all I really did was chill and occaisionally go outside with my siblings. I think that I usually just sit around and do nothing just to calm down and kind of forget about school and the stress of due dates and tests and quizes and just everything, and I find that the best way of reducing that stress is just sitting and doing nothing.
Last March break I went to New York City for a few days. I love the city, so it was a lot of fun. My mom made us sanitize all the time, and I'm glad I did before it got bad. We went to Central Park, the 9/11 memorial and Time Square. I got to try NY pizza, which tastes way better than it looks. I went to a restaurant where all the employees are rising Broadway stars, so certain employees would sing during their breaks. My waiter broke out into "Be our guest" from Beauty and the Beast, and he was amazing!
No March breaks for me are every bad there breaks from school you can't ruin that. The only thing that I really do during march break is going snowboarding a whole bunch of times and waking up later then normal and going to bed later. Since this pandemic it doesn't really affect my march break only the fact that you can't go eating at restaurants and now it's mandatory to wear a mask during snowboarding.
My worst March break was in grade five when I had to get my tonsils removed because they were inflamed. The entire year I was getting strep throat on and off. So my doctor said it would be better if I just had them removed. I remember it hurting a lot and I only ate apple sauce for almost two weeks. It was not fun.
I have never really had a bad march break. My favorite march break was last year's. My family, grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins went to Mexico for a week. We ate a lot of nachos and chips with guacamole. I also spent a lot of time reading by the pool. I actually finished two books in that one week. I would really like to go back.
My best march break is when i stayed at a disney resort with my family for a week and we got vip passes and we were able to visit all the different parks everyday. We would be able to go from the morning all the way till the night hours and some nights there would be special events ,i really liked this trip because i love amusement parks and i always had something to do i was never bored. My worst march break im guessing is probably going to be this one because of covid and everything.
I don't have a bAd MaRcH BrEaK but last year, it was quite the event. My family was helping someone move things and the family were we helping was kinda rude to me and my brother. Their kids kept insulting us and we could hear it but we simply just ignored them. During the move, the kids weren't doing much, except packing their stuff and that's it. They kept complaining about not having wifi so when my brother found the wifi box. He hid it for 5 days until my dad found it and gave it to them. (sad) In conclusion, this year and last year was quite the march break experience :D

ReplyDeleteMissing out on tubing must of sucked but eating popcorn while binge watching shows and movies must have been fun too! Great job on your blog!
DeleteI love eating popcorn and binge watching movies. You made great point in your blog!

DeleteI preferred Universal Studios to Disney World but I think they're both fun nonetheless. Great blog!

ReplyDeleteI would hate camp over the break, that ruins the whole point of the break in general.
