Today, March 17, is St. Patrick's Day!
For the second year in a row, the St. Patrick's Day Parade has been cancelled.
Have you ever attended a St. Patrick's Day Parade or any other parade?
Do you believe in LUCK?
Do you feel that you are a LUCKY or UNLUCKY person?
Explain.
I've never actually attended any St. Patrick's day parades. The only parades I've been to, are the ones for Canada day and all. I do believe in luck, but i feel like it really depends. If i'm on a lucky streak of a bunch of good things happening to me, I do believe. I feel like I'm kind of in between a lucky and unlucky person because some days when I'm in a really great mood I get mostly lucky but usually on bad mood I get unlucky sometimes i don't know why tho.
ReplyDeleteSame im in between lucky and unlucky too, great blog.
DeleteIf I'm on a lucky streak i feel lucky too. Great blog!
DeleteMe too. Great blog
Deletehaha i have never been to one as well. great blog!
DeleteI've never attended a St Patrick's parade or any other parade. I've really wanted to go to protests and parades. I feel like I am a lucky person. I've had very big lucky moments then not many smaller unlucky times. I do believe in luck because I have had some very lucky friends that randomly win the weirdest things and then I have one friend that anything he does it dosent turn out well.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me when people randomly win the weirdest things. Great job on your blog!
DeleteI have never really seen St. Patrick’s day as a huge celebration, and I’m pretty sure I’ve only attended a St. Patrick's Day Parade once. I have gone to and been in many parades. In Ontario I lived near a small town and there were many festivities (which was where the parade was). I would say I do believe in luck and superstitions. I just like having hope and it feels like you have a bit of help as well. I like doing superstitions for hockey and other sports but that is all. I think it all depends on what kind of day I’m having but sometimes I feel lucky and sometimes I feel unlucky, but it’s usually unlucky.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen it as a huge celebration either, I don't really understand why some people take it so seriously. Great blog
DeleteI've never been to a St. Patrick day parade before. I do believe in luck, I also believe that if you do something bad to someone that it will come back to you. I felt really lucky once when I found a four leaf clover when I was younger. A few days later I found a 5 dollar bill on the ground. I was walking
ReplyDeletehome from school when more than half of it was covered in wood chips. I do feel unlucky sometimes when I loose a game that requires luck. I feel lucky often because I do have more than what other have like clean water, an education, a house and much more.
I also find that four leaf clovers are lucky, great blog!
DeleteI have attended multiple St Patrick's day parades. I haven't been to one for a while but I went to one every year when I was younger. My cousins who live in Ontario would always come up for their March break and because theirs is the second week of March we would always go to the parade together. I personally really hated it. It was always cold to start and then after about an hour I would be sweating because my mom would make us wear our entire snowsuits. My family sees St Patrick's day as a fun holiday. All the adults would go out to my Aunt's restaurant/bar and my older cousin and I would watch the kids but he would always either end up leaving or inviting his friends over. I personally don't really believe in luck I just think stuff is just coincidences but honestly I see myself as an unlucky person because nothing seems to go the right way for me.
ReplyDeleteI've never went to a saint patricks parade before or any other parade. I don't really believe in luck but I believe that people who put good things out will get good things in return and vice versa with bad luck. I feel like I'm lucky and unlucky in different cases.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way, I don't really believe in luck. Good blog
Deletesame ,I believe people who do actually deserve bad luck get karma. Some of us just get misfortunate though. Great blog!
DeleteI've been to the parade a few times, not enough times for me to remember much of it, but I know that I've been. I have a few moments where something super lucky happens to me, and I'm like "woah", but other than that nothing unlucky or lucky really happens to me. I don't necessarily believe in luck, but when something does happen thats one in a million I do.
ReplyDeleteSame when that 1 in a million thing happens , Great blog!
Deleteluck is just so weird for it to seem real.
DeleteI agree, sometimes luck is there, but most of the time you can decide how it is going to play out.
DeleteAs far as I remember, I’ve never attended a St. Patrick’s Day Parade. I do believe in luck because throughout my life I have experienced it. Like once we we’e on a cruise and my mom entered my name in a raffle just for fun and I actually ended up winning a pair of diamond earrings. Unfortunately I also happen to be unlucky as well. Like last week was one of my most unlucky weeks. First we had tests, I was exhausted throughout the entire week then I ordered a book and it came in defective and I also lost one of the earrings to the diamond set I mentioned before. So yes, I have been unlucky before. I believe I have a good balance of being lucky and unlucky, sometimes though one will outweigh the other.
ReplyDeleteI love parades, the last one I remember going to was in 2014 with my aunt on St-Patricks day. I was really young so I don't remember a lot except probably going to take a hot chocolate afterwards. I really don't believe in luck or unluck but it is really cool to find 4 leaf clovers. I guess if super crazy 1 in a 3000000000000 things happen then yes of possibly I could be "luck"
ReplyDeleteIt is really cool to find a four leaf clover once in a while! Great blog.
DeleteI've never found or seen a four leaf clover
DeleteI've never really attended any kind of parade, however when it comes to luck... I don't really believe in luck because it seems like An interesting concept, but a novel one when it comes to it at best. Honestly though I can see myself as really unlucky at times, but most of those scenarios are caused by my own stupid desicions.
ReplyDeleteI don't really believe in luck either but the concepts always great in movies as like a climax.
DeleteI have never been to a St. Patrick's parade in fact, I've never been to any parade. I have always believed in good luck and bad luck and that's why I am pretty serious about superstitions. I have a lot of superstitions like tying my left skate first and tapping my stick on the boards a certain amount of times before going on the ice. I believe that I am usually a pretty lucky person but sometimes I can get pretty unlucky. I also believe that when you find a four leaf clover that it's extremely lucky. Once I was with my friend and we were on a walk and found an actual rabbits foot just on the side of the road! After we found it the rest of our day was amazing and we were just overall pretty lucky.
ReplyDeleteI used to go to the St Patrick's day parade a few times, sometimes I went to the one downtown and sometimes I went to the one in Hudson. I think luck does exist because how else do you explain stuff that just happens for now reason at all, like winning the lottery, someone could have bought 10 tickets and someone who bought one won.
ReplyDeleteI have never gone to a Saint Patrick's Parade in my life. My family was never big with Saint Patrick's Day. I do believe luck is a real thing. It is something part of the universe. Somethings only chance can decide. "Luck" in computer systems I don't think is actual luck. It is in the code, but code has a pattern therefore that luck isn't really real. I think I'm lucky at somethings and unlucky at others. You really don't know.
ReplyDeleteI have never attended a parade before but my parents usually hosts a party and we invite all of our friends. Sometimes I believe in luck and sometimes I don't, can't really explain it. I am definitely an unlucky person, I mean I am lucky in lots of ways but things that happen to me are pretty unlucky, lately its been in the middle, but towards the unlucky side.
ReplyDeleteI agree at times i believe in luck it depends on the day lol.great blog
DeleteThe reason why I've never attended a St.Patrick's Day parade is because I personally don't like St.Patrick's day, i like the religion part where Irish are actually celebrating Saint Patrick is perfectly fine and okay, but I can't stand Americans running around wearing green and talking about leprechauns for 10 hours. In the past, people would make fun of Irish people and called them psychos for wearing green and drinking alcohol, and they had to stand up for the racial stereotype. If you wanna celebrate it, that's fine, people have their opinions and have fun!!
ReplyDeleteI comepletely agree that every is entitled to their own opinion of St. Patrick's Day. Great blog!
DeleteI have attended many st patricks day parades and events. My uncle runs a st patricks day parade and hes also been irish man of the year for two years now so me and my family normally go to them even though I'm not too crazy about the holiday at all. I dont really believe in luck i dont know if im an unlucky person but i dont think im a lucky person at all .Like when someones getting chosen in class i get chosen whenever i dont want to and whenever i want to i never get chosen.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe I have ever been to a st patty's day parade and i f i have I don't remember. I mean i kinda believe in luck but especially after tuesday when me and my friends found a phone and when we returned it to the oneners they gave us 50$ anyone could have seen it but we did and also not related this might seem cheesy but after some thing that have happened i believe almost everything happens for a reason. I don't really know if i am lucky or unlucky it depends.
ReplyDeleteI have gone to a St. Patrick’s Day Parade and it was a very interesting experience. There were a lot of people and it was very crowded. The thing I liked the most was probably all the floats and the music players. Most of the folats had cool designs and great art on them. The music was very joyful and happy. I don’t necessarily believe in luck but if something good happens to me or to someone else it just happened in the course of your life not necessarily because of luck. I think I’m not a lucky or unlucky person. Good things happen to me just as much as bad things. Nobody’s life is perfect and the events that take place in your life happen for a reason not because of any sort of luck.

ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever going to a St.Patrick's parade but maybe I went to one when I was younger. I guess luck could be real but I see them more a quiencedances then luck. I'm a mix of both. I can have lucky day's like realising that my project is due Sunday not Saturday but also unlucky day's like stubbing my toe.
I haven't ever been to a St-Patrick's day parade. I have been to Christmas and Canada day parades but not St-Patrick's day parade. I don't really believe in luck. I think that there can be coincidences but nothing will cause you to have better or worse luck. I don't think I am very lucky or unlucky.
ReplyDeleteThose parades sound fun, good blog!
DeleteI don't go to St.Patrick's day parades because whats the point, its just a bunch of people in green who want to celebrate luck and being lucky. I don't beleive in luck because things like breaking a mirror or seeing a black cat just seem so random and weird for it to make your life harder and worse.
ReplyDeleteI went to one of st. Patrick's day parade one time. I slightly remember it, but not much. I remember being really impressed cause I remember seeing these people with guns twirling them around and firing blanks. This might be not real, because the memory is very vague, but I'm like 99% sure it happened. I do believe in luck. Not like superstitious, but that you can have a lucky and unlucky streak. Usually, I think that I am a kinda unlucky person. I think that some stuff that has happened to be is just pure luck, and I would not be able to replicate if I tried, but usually I think that I am an unlucky person. A lot stupidly unlucky things have happened to me, and usually if I try to fix it, it always goes the wrong way.
ReplyDeleteI have been the St.Patrick's Day parade before, it was a lot of fun. Honestly, I do believe in luck, chance, whatever you want to call it. There's been so many close calls in my life and I've avoided most of them by luck. I would say that I do think I'm a lucky person. Like I've won a few things here and there and like my life is going pretty well which is lucky and just like overall I feel like I'm lucky.
