This past weekend was NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY!

Tell me about your sibling(s)?

What makes your sibling(s) unique?

Can you tell me about a special moment you had with your sibling(s)?

Explain.

It was also NATIONAL PET DAY! You could tell me about your pet(s) and how much they mean to you.

If you do not have a sibling, what is it like being an only-child? Benefits? Drawbacks?

  1. I'm not close with my sister and we don't talk. She's smart. I've never had a special moment with her. I love my dog though. He's 5 years old and he's a portuguese water dog. He's black and white and his name is Percy. He's super naughty and he gets away like everything. Like last night I went in the backyard with him and he ran away with my slides and ripped them.

    2. That's really cool that you have a dog, I have always wanted one myself.

    3. have a love hate relationship, sometimes we’ll get along really well and other times not so much. We’re fairly different and have different interest so there’s not much we bond over. Sometimes it’ll be over food or a certain movie maybe. I guess one thing that makes my brother unique is the fact that he’s basically a young entrepreneur. He buys and sells stuff like crazy and makes a ton of cash in the process. He knows when he’s being ripped off and can find sick deals, mainly his interest lie in high end shoes. I can’t really a remember a specific special moment with my brother but when we go on vacations we usually have a good time together.

    4. I know that people really like shoes, but I don't understand them. If your going to buy something expensive buy something that you don't put on your feet, the part of you which touches the dirty ground. Great Blog

  2. My sibling is a little brother who is also a "little devil" in some way. My brother is unique in the way that he can swap from being extremely nice to being the definition of annoying. He's a really nice brother but also a snitch, tatle tale and huge exaggerator. Let's say I accidentally put out my foot he falls on the carpet not even face flat and he goes up to my parents cries and pretends like I cut off one his arm of something and that's how he describes it. My pet is good, he's a turtle who likes to bask a lot. He also knows when your in the room and if you don't feed him when he does that or pick him up he will keep making noise, it's kind of funny.

    2. You got to love them turtles. Just swimming and basking. I like the way you describe your brother.

    3. my older brother is the exact same way, I get whiplash from his mood swings. Great blog!

    4. Siblings swapping moods to exagerate to parents is a must have when talking about siblings.

  3. I am forced to see and talk to my siblings everyday which isn’t that bad. I have three older brothers (my twin and my older brothers are also twins and they are 16), and the best purpose they have is that I can wear their clothes (mostly hoodies). They can be fun on vacations and things like that when we are doing activities. Sometimes we can be very competitive and it’s really fun. I think the most unique thing about my siblings is that they are still alive. Because as a child I was very abusive towards them.

  4. I have two older brothers and they are 23 and 20 years old but I get more along with my oldest brother. My other one we don't talk about him, he's a different kind of special. He is very loud but he has the best style so his sweaters are technically mine now. My oldest brother is very smart and kind of takes care of me and helps me more with everything. But now I never got along with my brother who is 20 years old. We used to get along all the time he used to be like my best friend but now we don't really talk much and when we do it's always an argument. I've had many fun memories with my brothers though. I recently got a dog and I love her. I wouldn't want to be an only child despite having to see my brothers Id rather have them there.

  5. I have a sister named Gabriella. I lover her very much and we do a lot of things together. Although we do fight sometimes we do share a lot of special moments. One special moment we shared together was during quarantine. One afternoon my sister and I were making slime and we spilled it on cement on our gallery. We had to wash it off but we needed a lot of water. So I took the hose and started trowing it up the gallery with my sister and she had to catch it. It was really funny and we were dying of laughter.

  6. As far as siblings go, mine is not bad. She is not too annoying, and respects my personal space. She is also not a snitch and won't tell on me. So yeah, she's good at keeping secrets. She also does not exaggerate. If I were to accidently smack her, she would just go "ow" and that would be it. We have our ups and downs on certain days but have lots of specials moments. One special moment was we were playing this video game, which requires a lot of cooperation. So my sister and I were on the last level, which was the hardest. We worked together and told each other what to do, without arguing. We beat and we were so happy. It felt special because we were actually working together. My sister is pretty unique. She is quiet, short, quirky and not very good at explaining things. She does do things that I can't do though. She is pretty funny, artistic, fast and likes reading. For pets, I haven't had many. Unfortunately, I am allergic to dogs and cats. I've had a few fish but that was all. Currently, I have a turtle. His name is Morty and he's pretty cool. However, he is nothing like dogs or cats. They don't do much except swim around and soak up UV rays. I like him a lot, but he probably doesn't think much of me except his source of food.

  7. So I have my younger half-brother and rarely get to see him, since he doesn't live with me, which really sucks. My brother is sweet and kind, he's a great little brother although he does have his moments when he gets on my nerves. He likes to show me all his new toys that he got and always knows how to make me laugh, so when I see him we always make the most out of it. Then there my half-sister, who also doesn't live with me, she lives with my dad. I love getting to see her too, but she's growing up really fast, so once I can see her again and actually spend time with her, not just outside 6 feet away, I will also make the most of it. Being an "only child" when I'm at home is pretty fun. I get all the love and i get spoiled all the time. I wish that I had a sibling that lived with me though. I feel like it would be so much fun to have someone to talk to, get to annoy sometimes, have fun together and make some awesome memories with. Now for national pet day! I have two pugs, Lucy and Moody. They both love to chill and relax and Moody loves to go on walks on cool nights. Lucy is lazy and hates going on walks, but she loves going in the car. They both love treats and Moody can do tricks like sit, lie down and spin in a circle, which I taught him.

  8. My brother is smart, annoying, and he's the equivalent of what i like to call a smart ass. He talks too much, no one likes a know-it-all ok? Not everything is about you :D He does help me out with my homework because his only grades are 90% and higher and I get to copy his notes because in french class, he read the books we're reading currently in class so i'm surprisingly passing french with an 80% because of him. He loves to mock me and his nickname for me is clown which is no surprise there- He's not that unique, he's just a smart-ass. A special moment that my brother and I have is when my mom invites her friend's kids over and it's the most annoying thing in a household where the guest's priority is first and my brother and i would complain about my mom's friends kids together and my mom would both tell us to shut up and go away.

  9. I have 2 younger brothers. One is 10 years old, he can be fine until he isn't. He will be the most annoying possible, he will make annoying noise when I try to focus or he will keep poking me until I punch him hard and then he cries so I get in trouble. He also likes to make my other brother cry just for fun. My other brother is 6 and he is a lot less annoying the then the 10 year old. He minds his own business instead of bugging me. My brothers can be annoying but I'd rather have them then be an only child because I think that if I was an only child my parents would pay to much attention to me and I would get to be as independent.

  10. i have a younger brother and sister and they're really annoying. they are both at around the same age, so they're always like plotting against me to attack me with their dumb nerf guns but other than that, they're not that bad. the best thing about having them as my siblings is that i get to take their candy since i'm the oldest and that i don't really get in trouble. i guess what makes them unique is that my brother just really enjoys soccer and hockey at the most, he's a very athletic person and is smart too and my sister has really nice handwriting ( basically better than mine ) and she just loves to read and she's pretty smart for her age too. they can be really nice if they want to, they're not as annoying sometimes but it depends. it's usually on vacation when my siblings and i pretty much get along, which was always fun for us.

  11. Siblings aren't HORRIBLE, but if you haven't wanted to rip your hair out because of one then they aren't your siblings. I have a younger brother and sister and I get along with both of them, but when they talk to eachother, it's as if someone got stabbed because all you ever hear is screaming or whining which turns into screaming. When this happens, I usually sit in my room and wait for it to pass because I don't want to be a part of it when someone gets hurt.

  12. I have a younger brother. We get along most of the time, but he is really frustrating. I know this sounds kinda mean, but I don’t really think that he is really special at anything, I mean he is good at fighting in video games even if he’s never played it before. Except for street fighters, then I beat him every time. I have one pet, which is a cat. She is the greatest cat in the world. I love all cats but if I had to I would punch another cat in the face for her. And when she looks up you can see her little fluffy chin which is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo precious.

  13. I don't have any siblings or pets. Being an only child to me is a good thing because it means that I don't need to share anything with any siblings and I'll always be the one to get my parent's attention. When I'm home, I prefer to be alone and by myself because I feel more at peace. I wish I had a pet like a cat or a dog because I like animals and and they're there when I really need them to keep me company and they aren't as annoying as humans are. For me, being an only child doesn't really have any drawbacks besides that there are some times when I do feel lonely, but then I always call my friends.

  14. For this blog even though I have siblings I am not going to talk about them that much because that would just pretty much be a repeat of what my sister said but with slight changes so I'm going to be talking about my bird. We have three dogs too each sibling having their own, mine is a mastiff, so she is a huge dog and whenever someone sees her immediately they say how old is "he" even though her color is pink, explain to me how? My bird is in my room he can be pretty annoying when he pretends he's a nocturnal animal and starts flapping his wings aggressively at night but I still love him because he leaves his cage to see me every once and a while and sometimes randomly starts singing to a song that he has no rhythm to. Which I find funny.

  15. I have a younger brother. He's 11 years old and his name is Alessio. We're not the closest siblings, but it's okay. We still have a great relationship though. Obviously we get into fights because that's what siblings do. It's nice because we're close in age and like sort of the same things, we have the same sense of humour and listen to the same music, so car rides are fun. I love him. I also have a bird. His name is Bochi. We got him around seven years ago while my mom was on a business trip because she hates animals.

  16. I have a younger brother, he is 11. He's really annoying but the only thing we have in common is soccer. We both play it and love it. Sometimes I play with him but not usually because he's really competitive...like a lot. My brother is pretty good at soccer so I will give him that. Don't really have any special moments with him. I have 2 dogs. One is a golden retriever, he is 2 and he is really smart and loves food. His name is Rocky. I also have a cocker spaniel, he is 5 months old and he loves people and loves to bug Rocky. His name is Dasher. They are both family dogs and they are both super cute.

  17. I have one little sister. Her name is Emma, and she was born a week before my fourth birthday. I have very fond memories of her beating me up and coming at me with different utensils to scare me (shes got a short fuse). She has a soft spot for art and monkeys, and I call her a rat, because that is an accurate representation of what she is, and she is fine with it. I also have a dog named Milo, who loves me more than Emma and is a 4 (soon to be 5) year old Labrador retriever who likes bananas and the ladies.

  18. I have a younger sister who is seven years old. She is always happy and kind to everyone she knows. She has many friends who she enjoys interacting with. What makes her unique is her personality. She is always happy and loving to all. She forgives you in an instant not even caring how bad of a thing you did. I know that she is only seven years old and hasn't been on this planet for long but she has quite a bit of knowledge. I have had many special moments with my sister and I enjoy playing with her even if most of the time that includes playful fighting. I love my sister very much and it would pain me very much if she was gone. I have a cat but I don’t really interact with her. Her name is Nutella because that is something my step-father likes very much and he really wanted this cat. It would pain me a bit if my cat died but I could most easily get over it.

  19. I have a younger brother, who is six, becoming seven in may, and a younger sister, who is 5 becoming 6 in may. They are a HANDFUL. Separate, my brother is a psychopath that tries to kill me everytime i do anything as much as sit near him, and my sister, well... she does whatever she wants. Together though, they make SO MUCH NOISE that it's unbearable. To be honest, they are both unique in their insanity, but at the end of the day, they are my siblings, and I enjoy their company, even when they're annoying.

  20. I have one brother and he is extremely strange. He’s 11 and in 5th grade. He likes sports and video games. He’s very hyper and entertaining and a pain for my mom but that’s what makes him funny. I would say that we are pretty close. We do a lot of things together but always argue during things but not for long. A special moment I have had with my brother was last year when he left the house, my mom sent me out on my bike looking for him and he was hiding from me in peoples yards and through parks. I spent 2 hours looking for him and turns out he was hiding at the park the entire time. We laugh about it now but at the time I did not find it funny.

  21. I got lucky and got stuck with twin brothers that are 12 years old, almost 13. As well as a younger sister who is 9 and turning 10 next month. I'm pretty close with my siblings and we all get along but we are usually arguing and fighting. The special moments I have with my siblings are usually during family vacations or when we spend hours playing outside together. I also have a pet fish, I feel bad because I always forget I have one. His name is Tazz and he always swims around so fast and loves jumping out of his tank.

  22. I can usually get along well with my siblings. My older brother is 19, my older sister is 16 and my younger sister is 10. We usually stay away from each other, only ever really interacting if we are watching a movie or sitting around outside and eating dinner. My brother and I get along well because we both play the same video games and love watching movies, which we do from time to time. One of the special moments we had was when our dog died. It was sad, and we all just stopped what we were doing and just, sat around. It was really sad, and we all pretty much sat in silence for like 3-4 hours, just kinda thinking.
