YIKES - a full week of school!
Although we are not quite at summer break, what are some tentative plans you are making?
Do you have plans to go to camp?
Do you have plans to travel?
What other plans are on the horizon?
What will you do if everything remains CLOSED?
Explain.
Last summer break was amazing, one of the best summers iv'e had. Im hoping that this summer is the same. If covid didn't happen I would have probably gone to England with my family. This summer Im planning on doing a lot of camping with my friends. Also I want to spend a lot of time in my friend's pool. If everything closes I think i'll be fine unless Tim Horton's is closed, in summer all my friends and I go there all the time. I'm exited for this summer cause I know with covid or not it would be still really fun. Just with a smaller group of people.

DeleteI have plans to go to an overnight camp in Ontario with friends during the summer but I probably won't be able to do so because of all of the restrictions. I also am going to day camp with my cousins (in Montreal). I was supposed to go to Barbados during March break, and England during Easter but I couldn’t. So I think those vacations could be reconsidered. If everything remains closed, I will probably just hangout with family and close friends, and facetime people.

DeleteThis summer I'm planning on going camping with my childhood friends at sandbanks if its not closed. I really want to travel this summer but I doubt we're gonna be aloud. I'm also gonna stay out with my friends all day and night and hopefully matteo. If everything stays closed i guess im just gonna stay inside and do nothing because there's nothing to do. But i hope everythings gone by July at least

DeleteThis summer i am planning on spending time with my friends and family. I'm praying that there is not a curfew in the summer because my family and I stay out late together, they also live pretty far away. I'm not planning on travelling anywhere. My friends and I have fun in the summer we go to each other backwards to swim we also have a hangout spot where we go. If everything is closed this summer and I cant see my friends I don't know what I would do I have been waiting for so long for summer to come so I could hang out with my friends and not worry about working or school. I would be really sad and disappointed if I can't do anything during the summer because I'm really looking forward to the break.

DeleteLast year my summer wasn't that bad, except for the Virus and not being able to see my friends. That didn't even affect me much, because all of my friends I usually talk too online, either on social media, videogames, and stuff like that. We are planing on visiting some of my dads family in Toronto, and going up to our property out in rural quebec to be able to go camping in the woods. It's pretty fun, cause there is no one for a good couple of kilometers for the most part. I think that going over to friends houses, or having friends stay over, would be really fun, the only problem being that there is a virus and once it's over, and everyone is vaccinated and stuff, it should be very fun.

Deletethis year for summer break, i am most probably just going to be spending time with family and friends and hanging outside a lot and swim and all. i've actually never been to camp, i always used to just stay at my grandparents' house for summer break and hang out with friends at the mall and go to each other's pools. but we're not planning on travelling anywhere for this year. if everything were to be closed for the summer ( which i'm hoping won't happen ) is probably just hang out with a few friends and just go to each other's houses i guess. i'd be so disappointed if that happened, because there wouldn't really be much to do, i'm so excited for this summer so let's hope everything goes well.

DeleteThis summer break I don't have any plans to go to camp but I do have some plans to take coding classes because I want to get a little better at it. We usually travel a lot to go camping and this year I don't think will be an exepction unless they don't let us in other cities. I hope sometimes in between those I can make some fun plans to hang out with my friends, go biking etc..

DeleteSome plans we would have for summer break would be to travel and see all the family we missed throughout the entire pandemic. Also, I would just do all the things we couldn't do during the pandemic like go out with friends, party, restaurants. You know, that kind of stuff. If we still had these restrictions during the summer break, that would just be depressing. I would probably play more video games, because what else is there to do?
ReplyDeleteI HATE going to camp without friends since i'm anti-social and i prefer being alone or with family and friends instead of going to somewhere with a group of strangers. I remember one time I had a panic attack in camp and fainted so that was fun :D But other than that, I do plan on traveling to somewhere in east asia tour, like Tokyo or Beijing to visit my third cousins and friends! I'd also love to try out new hobbies or watch new shows. My parents are really keen on making me and my brother try gardening. We have a big backyard so my dad really wants to plant a tree and my mom wants a lot of herbs in her backyard, but i'm doing the yard work though... I would also love to hang out with my friends in the summer if that's possible. If covid cancels everything, I would be a bit bored but I can always stay in my house and try out other things :)

DeleteI am so excited for summer. I am going to relax but also do a lot of things. Something that I am going to do a lot is going on walks with my aunt. We go downtown or just drive somewhere far and just explore wherever we end up for hours, it's one of my favourite things to do. I also want to read a lot this summer. I'm going to order a bunch of books for my summer reading list soon. I'm also so excited to see my friends that I play sports with. If everything is closed down again I could probably have a pretty normal summer but just without playing sports and seeing my friends.
ReplyDeleteI would like to go to camp but unfortunately I don’t think I will. Usually during the summer I I vacation to Florida but with the borders closed those plans have also been cancelled. I might just spend the summer hanging out with friends which I’m totally happy to do. Not to mention, I’ve made many plans already with them already that I plan on fulfilling. If everything remains close then I guess I will be spending a lot of time in my backyard swimming in the pool. Probably do a lot of reading and writing, along with watching Netflix too! Can’t forget listening to lots of music either!
ReplyDeleteIm just glad school we be over with, and I won't have to suffer with design and science. I'm going to try to go to Toronto, so I can see everything there and afterwards see my grandma, who's been vaccinated. I hope I'll be vaccinated by then as well. My mom is renovating our kitchen this summer, so when it's done it will look great, but that's all I'm doing this summer.

DeleteI think that this summer, it will be very boring if everything stays closed, but I still have plans. Me and my best friend really want to hang out a lot more because we don't see each other a ton. We also want to go to camp with some of our other friends. Other than that, I really just want to hang out with people and make the most of the summer.

DeleteThis summer i dont have any major plans yet but i know that my family would love to travel if things get better and rules ease down.I would like to go somewhere but im not relying on it im fine just staying here and hanging out outside with my friends.My expectations for the summer is just to be aloud to start doing more things and being able to hangout with all my friends.I really hope there is no curfew and things are opened because if not all my plans will suck.

DeleteI don't have any plans this summer yet. I know I will be going camping in my RV. Not sure when or where because some places are open but not most. I highly doubt my family will be traveling anywhere on a plane but if we are allowed to and everything eases down I would be really happy to. I am honesty just excited for the warm weather. If everything remains closed I will probably continue hanging out with my friends outside.

DeleteSince school will be ending quite soon, summer vacation will arrive. I will be going to camo as I do every year. This will be the first year my sister will go to camp with me. Since my sister goes to a school where the first half of your primary school years are in French, my mom has enrolled us at a French camp. I’m not very happy since it is a different camp from the one I have been going to for the past 5 or 6 years. I hope it will be good and that I will enjoy it. If the camp closes because of Covid-19 I will probably stay home and do stuff with my family.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any plans to go to camp this summer. Maybe my mom and I will go on a day trip to somewhere, but definitely not too far, so I wouldn't really count that as travelling. I will mostly be hanging out with friends this summer. Going to the park, maybe getting some ice cream, going on walks on warm summer nights. On Mondays and Tuesdays I will be babysitting my little cousins. They have a park right next to there house and pool in their yard so we'll be spending lots of time outside. I will obviously be watching some Netflix, hopefully finding a new show I like. I will be doing some reading too, I already have some summer reads lined up. That's probably going to be my summer.

DeleteI do not have any plans for summer. I don't think I've ever myself planned for something. I'm probably just going to lay around in my house then when there's a week before school have a realisation that school is near and have a nervous breakdown. I might be going to England this summer but then again I don't know for sure. If everything remains closed it really won't affect anything for me, like I said there’s only one time during summer that I'm going to travel and I don't think I'm going to camp, and if I do have to then it's going to be a bad summer, I've never liked camps.
ReplyDeleteI don’t really have plans for this summer. Every year we rent a cottage with my family's friends so I’m hoping they will change the rules. Last year I had plans to go to this special art camp in the city but it was canceled due to COVID, but my mum signed me up to go this summer and since that i'm older I’ll be with the older kids so we will get to do more fun stuff. If everything remains closed I will probably die because everything is so boring now and I can’t handle my summer being as bad as the school year.
ReplyDeleteIf everything still remains closed this summer I will try and hang out with my close friends and make the best of the situation but I'm very excited for this summer if things get better I go to a camp called DLC its a Sleepaway Camp and I've gone since I was 7 it's like my second home I would love to go this year I also rented a cottage for a week on a lake so we will be going there and I have made a lot of plans already with my friends this summer they're not set plans but we just want to have a lot of fun like stay out late and maybe sneak out and obviously swim I'm just take advantage of not having school. Just like many, many others all I hope for is this summer is a good summer.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this summer, no school, being with friends, warm weather and all that good stuff! I spend my summers at my cottage. There's so much fun things to do there such as tubing, skiing, swimming, kayaking, wakeboarding and so much more. At my cottage I get to see my closest family and friends, we always have an amazing time. When I'm not at the cottage I spend my time going on adventures and doing fun stuff with my best friends. Can't wait only 2 more months.
ReplyDeleteHonestly this summer doesn't seem that exciting. Usually I'd visit my cousins, who live in ontario, but they won't let ANYONE in ontario right now, so that's out of the question. My parents also detest the idea of me seeing friends, so that's also out of the question. Honestly during the summer I'm probably going to spend alot of time biking, and that's about it. Maybe I'll make another game if I get *really* bored

ReplyDeleteI will probably sleep more and see my friends. In normal summers, I go visit my family in Nova Scotia but we don't have enough time to quarantine because my parents work. We might go camping if we are aloud. I am still going to enjoy the summer though.
I am excited for summer and have absolutly no plans, I feel like I'm just going to do whatever I feel like and I'm not going to make plans. If everything is going to stay safe I wouldn't mind so that my mom wouldn't be trying to get me to go and play outside with people in my neighborhood. I probably will play a lot of video games during summer, since even if I do go outside my allergies are going to suck.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, last summer was one of the best summers ever. This summer, my friends and I planned to spend our whole summer together. We have a huge list of things to do like skateboarding, stargazing, movie nights, etc. We wanted to have picnics and choose different themes for them. We also wanted to try to be on our phones as least as possible. We decided to buy disposable cameras to take our picture though!
