What role does she play in your life?
Have you used this quarantine period to get closer to your mother?
How are you acknowledging her on MOTHER'S DAY 2020?
Explain.
My mom is fun. I'm not super close with her but she's good to talk to I guess. Over quarantine we didn't get closer but we didn't get less close so it stayed the same. She helps me with school and homework and stuff and she helps me with my boy problems. She also drives me to places I need to go and she does a lot of stuff for me.

DeleteMy mom is a very hardworking and smart woman. During the quarantine, and even now she works from home all day. Sometimes from 5 am to 4 pm. I feel like I'm already pretty close to her, I'm her first child, and I'm much better behaved than my sister. Our favourite things to do together are to play Mario games and board games. She is nice, and has a great sense of humour. This Mother's Day, my dad and I are going to Ikea the night before. We are going to purchase cinnamon buns from Ikea, because thats her favourite dessert. On Mother's Day she'll wake up to the smell of warmed up Ikea cinnamon buns.

Deletemy mom is super fun and kind. she loves to take me shopping downtown and that's basically how we spend our time together, it's always just us two because no one else really likes to shop, in our family besides us. but during quarantine, i spend a lot more time with her too, since she's been working from home since the start of the lockdown. i have two other siblings and i'm the oldest which i guess makes me a bit more close to her than my brother and sister. this mother's day, my dad, siblings and i are going to get my mom her favourite kinds of flowers and get her, her favourite meal for dinner which is sushi and gift her with a bottle of wine from the SAQ. we usually do something like that every year but she likes it haha.

DeleteI have gotten much closer with my mom during quarantine but we were still really close before then too. For mothers day im gonna be making her a macaroni necklace cause she's always wanted one but also some flowers and some things she can put on her office desk. Im very close with my mom and I love to hangout with her so ill be defiantly making mothers day nice and special for her.

DeleteI feel like during quarantine, my mom was working the whole time so I couldn't really spend much time with her, and now we're always taking care of my dog so I don't spend a ton of time with her. However, she definetly does play a very big role in my life and I am very grateful for what she has done for me over the years.
ReplyDeleteMy moms nice, hardworking and has a good sense of humour which is good because joke about everything and im happy she just understand me and goes along with it.My moms really chill and kets me do most things which im very grateful for because i know some parents dont let they're kids do much so im happy she's open to most things.During quarantine we didn't really get close because she was working everyday all day but she does work from home so it gave me the opportunity to at least see her a bit more.
ReplyDeleteMy mother plays so many roles in my life. She's the main source of money in my family. She's the person who make sure i know where the dishes go or what the difference between a salad and a dessert fork. She's the one who takes my phone away, tells me to go outside, she makes sure i get good grades (it's not going well) and she's strict. Sometimes it pesters me that she's expecting me to do two hundred things and i can only do 10. I'm really grateful for her in my life but she needs to learn how to close the door properly... We don't actually celebrate Mother's day nor my Father's day in my country, it's more like a parents day/week kinda thing and it happens on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month (another calendar system)

ReplyDeleteI love my mom she is always there for me and she always makes sure my sister and I are okay. My mom is hard working at her job and is an amazing mom. She always helps me when I need it and I can count on her for anything. I do a lot of things with my mom; we do a lot of activities together. We also watch our favourite show together. During quarantine we have gotten a lot closer. On mother day I am going to give her flowers and a gift. I will also be spending a lot of quality time with her.

DeleteFor my free blog I will be writing about this new series that I'm watching on Netflix called “Daybreak.” I’m only episode 3 but the length of each episode is nearly an hour long. The series follows the story of 17-year-old Canadian high school outcast Josh Wheeler, who is searching for his missing British girlfriend Sam Dean in post-apocalyptic Glendale, California in an area full of adults that turned into ghoulies. My favorite parts so far is when Josh impales the captain of the golf team’s hand, and also at the end of episode 2 Josh was trying to cut his arm off and he actually ended up cutting off his finger because he got bitten by a ghoulie. But it turns out he didn’t have to do that because it’s not a zombie apocalypse where if you get bitten by a zombie or get an infection you die and turn into one.

DeleteMy mum plays a pretty big role in my life, she’s probably my number 1 supporter and never fails to mention that I can count on her for anything. I’m a very indecisive person so she’s the first one I go when I need advice or an opinion on something. She’s strong, selfless and has a great sense of humour. Each day I come home from school, I give her a good report of my day and it's become like a routine by now. I’ve always been pretty close with my mum and I guess quarantine did allow us to get closer. For mother’s day, I was planning to get her some flowers, a card, chocolate and also maybe sketch an art piece for her to make it more personal. I already have some ideas of what I’m going to do, now I just have to pick one or make a collage of them all.
ReplyDeleteMy mother is very nice and very funny. She plays a huge role in my life by always being there for me but also working really hard . I usually go to church with my mom and go on walks those are usually "out thing". During quarantine I have gotten a lot closer because before her job was downtown so she would wake up late and work late but now its all from home so we spend a lot more time together.
ReplyDeleteI love my mom. She is basically my best friend in the entire world. We always have a good laugh no matter what. She's hilarious and knows how to make everyone smile. She is hard working. She works from 9am to 11pm on good days. She is also a really fantastic mom and I'm grateful for her. She plays one of the most important roles in my life. She is my role model and I will always and forever look up to her. This quarantine, we've been stuck together inside the house which has given us some time to bond, but of course there was a lot of times where we got on each others nerves. I don't really know what we're doing for Mother's Day yet.

DeleteMy mom is nice and cares for me. She plays a big role in my life because she has always been pushing me forward. She's a bit strict but I know that's because she wants me to have a good life when I grow up. My mom always makes sure I'm up to date with my work by constantly asking me about my day. She also tries to make my life balanced by making sure I don enough work, exercise and leisure time. I think the quarantine made me talk to my mom more because after all we were stuck in a house. But now we would have nothing better to do so we talked to each other more and went on more walks. What I'm going to do for mother's day is undetermined, but I think I will make something for her, like a picture or an animation.

DeleteMy mother is a smart and hard-working person. She cares for everyone and will not let what other people say get to her. I know that she has struggled in the past with self-esteem but now she is stronger than ever. My mom has cared for me ever since I was a child and she was a single mom. My mom took care of me and gave me a very enjoyable childhood. When I was four she met my now step-father and we all had fun together. I did many things with my mother before quarantine but being with my family for long periods of time has all made us closer.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is the strongest, kindest and most fun person I know. We are super close. The highlight of everyday for me is getting in the car after school and talking to her. She plays such an important role in my like. I lean on her for everything and she has taught me so much in my life so far. During quarantine I would say we got closer since we were always together, I feel like I got to know more about her. For mothers day I'm making her a card, getting her flowers and a nice gift.

DeleteMy mom is the nicest, biggest hear, most patient person I know. She fun to hangout with and shes also pretty funny...sometimes. During quarantine me and my mom went on walks with my dog most of the time and has A LOT of movie nights. For mother's day I don't really know if we have plans but I did get her a candle and hand soap from Bath & Body Works. So she will enjoy that. I also got her, her favorite chocolate.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is great! She is always there for me and my siblings and does whatever she can to help us in life and make things simpler for us. She's a single mother and she still always finds time to spend with us and help us try and become better people. She plays a massive role in my life because if she wasn't here I would probably have to move to vancouver to go and stay with my dad and I really don't like him that much.

My mom is amazing. She is a great mother to me and my two younger brothers and she is great at her job. She supports us all the time. She helps us with everything. During quarantine, I have stayed close with my mom, we walk the dog together and cook together. On mothers day, I'm going to get flowers from a flower shop while she is still asleep in the morning to suprise her.

DeleteI have always been pretty close with my mom but we've gotten closer in quarantine and she's open to talk about anything. Most of the time we get along pretty well because I find we are quite similar, but other times we don't get along well because we are similar (If that makes any sense). For mother's day I got her some of her favourite bath and body work's items and the lululemon sweater that she's wanted for a while now. She deserves it after all she's been through and all she's done for everyone.
